About The SC Search and Rescue Dog Association
The South Carolina Search and Rescue Dog Association, or SCSARDA, is a team of highly trained volunteers who donate their time and resources to assist local emergency response agencies in the search for lost and missing persons. Members use specially trained search canines and maintain standards of excellence through on-going training and certifications.
Founded in 2002, The South Carolina Search and Rescue Dog Association is a non-profit organization that serves the Upstate of South Carolina and neighboring states. SCSARDA has K9s trained in trailing, area search, cadaver and water cadaver. The team participates in more than 30 searches each year.
