Ways to Help Support SCSARDA

SCSARDA is a 100% volunteer organization. Our members donate their time and provide for their own training, equipment, and dogs expenses. We rely on public support to maintain our search and rescue operations.

Here are some ways that you can help The South Carolina Search and Rescue Dog Association

Join the Team

SCSARDA has two membership levels, one for those who want to be K9 handlers or operational (in the field) and one for those who want to provide auxiliary support for searches and community events.  For more information about joining SCSARDA, please visit our membership page.

Tell a Friend

Help raise awareness about SCSARDA. Share a link to our website, or get tips to avoid getting lost on our community education page.

Make a Donation

Help ensure that our team is well-trained and prepared for any search.  For information about making a tax-deductible donation or contributing an item from our wish list, please visit our donations page.

Land Use

One of our most important needs is for land to use for training. New locations provide new scenarios for our K9s and help us become better searchers. Sites should be at least 80 acres with with a mix of both forested and open land and located in or near Spartanburg County. Please contact us for more information.
